2020 will be a landmark year for 17-time Grammy Award nominee Brian McKnight. With the release of “Exodus,” his 20th album.

UB has learned will be released on June 26th, 2020 via Caroline/SoNo Recording Group. Brian has stated that the 13-track album, will be his final album of all original material.

Exodus” will include the released singles “When I’m Gone”, “Neva Get Enuf Of U”, and “Nobody” alongside other original compositions like “’42 (Grown Up Tipsy)” and an intimate cover of the Sting classic “Fragile.”

UB asked Brain McKnight in 2013, what was the biggest accomplishment in his career thus far? “Still being here and still being around. You know, I think that speaks volumes more than any award. People are still wanting to listen and a lot of people don’t get 10 years. I’m thankful for that every day!”

The new single “Nobody” is “the quintessential Brian McKnight single,” the singer and songwriter explains that the song was written about his wife Leilani.

“It’s about the incredible love we share as have been all the songs I’ve written since we’ve been together. ’Nobody’ is perfect for right now at a time when real true love seems to be missing in music and in most aspects of society. It’s the best song I’ve written in a long time.”

Nobody” is reminiscent of the romantic vibes powering the artist’s memorable repertoire of songs that includes “Back at One,” “Anytime” and “One Last Cry.

Many of the visuals featured in the “Nobody” video, are taken from personal footage filmed during the McKnights’ 2017 wedding ceremony.

Brian performed a Instagram concert earlier last month to support the World Health Organization and Global Citizen.
