UNCF (United Negro College Fund) is the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization. To serve youth, the community and the nation, UNCF supports students’ education and development through scholarships and other programs, strengthens its 37 member colleges and universities, and advocates for the importance of minority education and college readiness.
The 2020 9th Annual UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball will bring together more than 500 local leaders, educators, and advocates to celebrate those whose commitments to making an impact inspire us all including Mayor Eric Garcetti, leading companies such as Delta Air Lines, and celebrities and friends.
This year, the UNCF will honor HBCU alum and Golden Globe® Nominated and NAACP Winner “black-ish” Actor and Producer Anthony Anderson as the Masked Award Honoree. UNCF Brand Ambassadors such as Loni Love, Khleo Thomas, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Angelica Nwandu and MAJOR will also be celebrated for their passion and leadership in their community. In addition, the UNCF will meet the scholars whose lives have been changed and celebrate the cause of education together.
Mayor’s Masked Ball will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the historic Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles welcoming local leaders, students and supporters.
