Chaka Khan Set to Release First Live Album ‘Homecoming’

10 times GRAMMY Award winning artist Chaka Khan returned home to Chicago’s Harris Theatre to perform a selection of her greatest hits in front of an enthusiastic hometown audience. The special aired in late November on PBS.

UB has learned, on March 13th, BMG will release “Homecoming” the live album.

Featuring Chaka and her 12-piece band deliver wonderful renditions of her funk classics such as “Tell Me Something Good,” written by Stevie Wonder and “I Feel For You,” written and first performed by Prince and more.

Also included in her set are jazz standards such as “My Funny Valentine” and contemporary hits “Until You Come Back to Me” and “I’m Every Woman.”

This will be her first solo live album release.
