Today, Detroit’s Haitian singer/songwriter JessLove released the official video and single for the 1st single “Wallpaper,” off of her upcoming album ‘The Phases Of’ releasing early 2019. JessLove introduces the catchy allegory Wallpaper, which touches on the moment someone in a toxic relationship, gets the strength to walk away. “Wallpaper” metaphorically represents the “cover-up” of all issues present in a broken relationship, when the foundation wasn’t right to begin with!

The Wallpaper record was inspired by late 90s r&b so for the visual I wanted to create something that was fun, playful and entertaining, while paying homage to some of my favorite music videos of that era.” – JessLove

This music video features JessLove’s performance set around a “90s-early new millennium” inspired theme that is visually vibrant, familiar and entertaining. Check it out!
