New Music Friday: Tasha Scott – ‘Here We Go’
Best known for her role in “Troop Beverly Hills” and the FOX television series South Central, Tasha Scott has released the lead single from her upcoming debut album release.
The mid-tempo “Here We Go,” was written by Tasha Scott & Eben Franckewitz who also produced the track.
The sensual new single showcases a different side of Tasha, with lyrics like “when we go hard, it’s like a symphony.” Hey now, the type of grown folks music we like around here. Tasha told us about what inspired her to write “Here We Go.”
“I just wanted to tell a story about how love feels, when you do things spontaneously.”
Tasha has previously released some singles over the years. Which include “Good Woman” and the incredible slept on ballad “Gone,” featured on the Brandy & Ray J Family Business soundtrack.
The visual for “Here We Go” will premiere in late April or early May, directed by Trevor Laub.

Tasha did give us a little early scoop however on the release saying, “I’ll be co-writing just about everything. The sound is mid-tempo and more edgy with a Hip-Hop feel.” Tasha went on to say “I’m Re-opening my flirtatious side again and getting back to feeling sexy, beautiful and loving myself more.”
