Slim from 112 Drops “Killin’ Em Girl” – Preps New Release “Re-Fueled”

I feel so blessed to partner with an amazing label, Shanachie, to put out my album Re-Fueled. It is my best work yet! My music pedigree is from a time (the 90s), where people all over the world used words from songs to escape the craziness in their lives. It was medicine to heal no matter where they were from or what their socialor financial status was. That timeless concept will always have a place in R&B!

That’s the same concept I’m bringing to R&B with ‘Re-Fueled!’ A timeless, eclectic body of work that everyone from age 8 to 80 can positively relate to. Once you hit play you can let it go all the way until it ends! Re-Fueled is personal to me…while recording,

I was in the process of rebuilding my own stance with love and it helped me to heal. I hope when listening everyone experiences the same! There’s a time and place for everything and I feel it’s MY TIME NOW! Now is the time for ‘Re-Fueled. ‘It’s COMING! ” – SLIM

“My music is all about hip hop and R&B,” declares the charismatic R&B crooner Slim. “What I bring to the music business is consistency. I bring solutions to love and relationship problems through spreading love and positivity.” Slim’s unique and iconic voice catapulted the R&B quartet to the top of the charts with such hits as “Peaches and Cream,” “Cupid” “Only You,” “It’s Over Now” and “Anywhere.” May 13, 2016, Slim will release Re-Fueled, his solo debut for Shanachie Entertainment, a follow up to his 2008 CD Love’s Crazy which showcased the Top 10 single “So Fly” featuring Shawty Lo and Yung Joc and his much talked about 2012 mixtape Crusin’ The City. Slim is currently touring with 112 on their 20th Anniversary Tour and they will also be touring with the entire Bad Boy family late this Summer.

Slim’s forthcoming album promises to deliver the classic R&B sound he is known for as well as a few special surprises. Shanachie Entertainment General Manager Randall Grass, states, “Slim has one of the most distinctive and recognizable voices in R & B. Given how long its been since either 112 or Slim has released a new album, there’s going to be a lot of excitement when Slim’s new one drops!”
