New Music: London Taylor – “Better Half”

LONDON TAYLOR

After receiving success with his single “Pop Big Bottles” featuring Future and his uber-controversial music video “No Panties” starring Nicole Murphy (VH1’s Hollywood Exes), London Taylor is back again with his new sultry single “Better Half.” “Better Half” showcases the R&B crooner’s more vulnerable side as he pleads for forgiveness while reassuring his longtime lover her importance in his life. The visual for “Better Half” reveals the singer’s fleeting interest in the always-present pursuit of the party and introduces London‘s need for more meaningful moments. When asked why he chose “Better Half” as his lead single London‘s answer was quite simple—”It’s authentic and true to my artistry,” he says. With the tracks new age production and classic vocal styling, “Better Half” bridges the gap between the Hip Hop community and rare groove enthusiasts.

The single “Better Half” will act as a launching board for London’s debut album “Cinematic Music” which will be released later this year. “Cinematic Music” will be a packaged release that will include a full-length feature film accompanied by London’s album. The film stars London Taylor alongside Imani Hakim (Everybody Hates Chris, The Gabby Douglas Story), Kym Whitley (Raising Whitley), Nick Nervies (Project X, Curb Your Enthusiasm), K.D. Aubert (The Scorpion King) and a host of talented actors. “Cinematic Music,” which includes 17 music videos in addition to scripted transitional vignettes, is currently nominated to be included in the Guinness Book of Records for its minimal production days, locations, and extremely quick turnaround. “Better Half” and its accompanied visual are currently available for free download via London Taylor’s website and social networks.
