UB Honors 2013: And The Winners Are…

Over 23, 000 of you voted, breaking our previous record for number of votes and Robin Thicke & Kelly Rowland take the most UB Honors for 2013! Robin takes the crown in Best R&B Single of The Year, Best Up/Mid -Tempo Single of The Year and Best Video of The Year for the monster hit “Blurred Lines” featuring T.I. & Pharrell. Kelly Rowland won for Best R&B Female Artist, Best R&B Album of The Year and along with Fantasia & Missy win Hottest Collaboration Single of The Year for “Without Me.”

Tamar Braxton proved she was a force to be reckoned with, when it came to dropping some of the best R&B this year, winning the top spots for Artist of The Year as well as getting the most votes for Best New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist.

Other winners include Ciara winning Best Artist Return Album of 2013, Mint Condition for Best R&B Group and 90’s sex vixen Adina Howard, takes the most votes for her latest dance smash “Switch” in the Best Dance/Club Single of The Year category.

This years most nominated artist Kendrick Lamar wins for Best Rap Artist & Best Hip-Hop Single of The Year for “Bi*ch Don’t Kill My Vibe.”

This year for the winners announcement, we decided to list the actual voting percentages so viewers can see how their actual votes played out.

We are honoring Jody Watley as our first Legendary Honors Recipient this year and that feature will be live Monday January 6th! Including a special interview with Jody!
