UB Reviews: TC | Tiyon Christian’s ‘Mine’ Heats Up Holidays
When you think of some of the best young songwriters in this game, Tiyon Christian has to be on that list. I mean after all he’s written for everyone from Justin Bieber, JLO & Brandy. Not to mention he’s been fully involved in the last three album releases from Tamar Braxton.
The thing about this guy is he is a beast with that pen, but when he gets in that booth..it’s a wrap! Vocals for days, along with crazy arrangements and ad-libs, TC is really in a lane of his own.
For this holiday season, he’s blessed us with the sensual ballad “Mine.” At first listen, Christmas doesn’t necessarily come to mind. It’s not until he delivers those clever lyrics he’s known for, that you realize it. The melodic vocals, arrangement & the smooth production, really sets this song apart from other new holiday singles released thus far this year.
This is for the ones trying to be boo’d up this Christmas, “When it comes to you I loose control, when it comes to me, you want some more.” TC belts. He continues with “That’s what I get for loving you, even though we’re not official yet, I just want some of your time alone. So this Christmas..will you be mine?”
