In a triumphant return to her trademark neo-soul, Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Angie Stone releases her new album on Saguaro Road Rhythm/WEA. On her 6th studio project Angie explores all aspects of being a “Rich Girl,” dropping September 25th. Expected to be her biggest album yet, the 15-tracks have skintight grooves, funky vibes and a beautiful mélange of sounds. UrbanBridgez.com has your exclusive first look at the tracklisting below.

It’s a measure of an artist who has mastered her own identity and left nothing to chance. With “Rich Girl” the neo-soul songwriter has done just that, delivering a powerfully intimate collection of songs that wrap themselves around you like a warm embrace full of love and compassion, strength and wit.
The first single from the album, “Do What U Gotta Do,” was the most-added track to urban AC radio stations throughout the country when it released in mid-June, and now it’s headed to being a Top 10 hit.

Angie has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, two Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, and has released four Top 10 R&B albums (with her The Art of Love & War going all the way to #1). An acclaimed songwriter, her work has been recorded by Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu, Raphael Saadiq, Musiq (Soulchild) and many more.

We’re happy Angie‘s back! Stay tuned for the follow-up single from “Rich Girl” entitled “Backup Plan” that starts impacting radio soon.
