Elektra recording artist Bruno Mars has unveiled a jam-packed schedule set to keep him busy through the end of the year, including the much-anticipated start of his first-ever North American headline tour.

First up is a series of high-profile TV appearances, kicking off with a live performance on the Thursday, November 11th installment of CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman. The chart-topping singer/songwriter/producer will then visit NBC’s TODAY on Monday, November 22nd to perform on their outdoor plaza stage, which will be shortly followed by a performance on the 2010 Soul Train Awards, set to air on both Centric and BET on Sunday, November 28th (check local listings). On December 1st, Bruno will take the stage for The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! – which will be broadcasted on CBS from 10pm – 11pm ET/PT. The new schedule continues Mars’ seemingly non-stop run of TV appearances, with recent highlights including NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Fuse TV’s A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus, and the nationally syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show.

As if all that weren’t enough, two songs from Mars’ breakthrough debut album, “DOO-WOPS & HOOLIGANS” are set to be featured on an upcoming episode of Fox’s hit series, Glee, including “Marry You” and the smash #1 single, “Just The Way You Are.” The eagerly awaited episode is slated to air on Tuesday, November 23rd.

Meanwhile, Mars is poised to hit the road on “The Doo-Wops & Hooligans Tour,” set to launch Tuesday, November 16th with an already sold-out show at Slim’s in San Francisco (see attached itinerary). Upon the tour’s conclusion, he will head to his native Hawaii for a much-anticipated pair of homecoming shows, scheduled for December 19th at Honolulu’s Neal Blaisdell Arena and December 21st at Maui’s Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Additional tour dates will be announced shortly – for complete details and remaining ticket information, please visitwww.brunomars.com/tour-dates.

What’s more, Mars will be among the top stars performing at a slew of impending holiday radio concerts. Among the shows already announced are KISSFM’s Jingle Ball at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on December 5th, Q102’s Jingle Ball at Camden, NJ’s Susquehanna Bank Center on December 8th, Z100’s Jingle Ball at New York’s world famous Madison Square Garden on December 10th, and 93.3 FLZ’s Jingle Ball at Tampa’s St. Pete Times Forum on December 12th.

A charming and charismatic live performer, Mars has spent much of the past few months on the road, including a sold-out solo debut at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. In addition, he spent October supporting Maroon 5 on the fall leg of their 2010 “Hands All Over” Tour, followed by an acclaimed European tour alongside Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording artist Travie McCoy that hit sold-out venues in England, Scotland, Germany, Denmark, France, Sweden, and The Netherlands.

In other news, Mars is ready to unveil a new video for “Grenade,” his latest single from “DOO-WOPS & HOOLIGANS.” The clip – directed by Nabil (Kanye West, John Legend, Black Eyed Peas) – is set to have its world premiere on November 19th with debut airings on MTV, MTV2, MTV Hits, mtvU, www.mtv.com, and www.vh1.com. In addition, “Grenade” will be featured on VH1’s Top 20 Countdown, slated for broadcast on Saturday, November 20thand Sunday, November 21st (check local listings). Already a top 40 hit on Billboard’s “Pop Songs” chart, “Grenade” is also quickly ascending the overall Billboard “Hot 100.”

Mars, of course, recently topped the “Hot 100” with his RIAA double platinum-certified smash, “Just The Way You Are.” The single – which has just surpassed the 2 million sales mark – sees Mars continuing his stunning streak of 2010 hits, which also includes Rebel Rock Entertainment/Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist B.o.B’s #1 success, “Nothin’ On You (Feat. Bruno Mars),” which is also RIAA double platinum-certified, and Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording artist Travie McCoy’s top 5 fave, “Billionaire (Feat. Bruno Mars).” Both tracks were co-written and produced by Mars’ highly sought-after production team, The Smeezingtons, as was fellow Elektra recording artist Cee Lo Green’s worldwide hit single, “F**k You,” which is also RIAA gold certified.

Hailed as one of 2010’s most extraordinary debuts, “DOO-WOPS & HOOLIGANS” is now set to be released in a special vinyl edition, due on December 7th. Quantities will be limited, with pre-orders officially beginning November 9th at www.brunomars.hasawebstore.com.

The official music video for “Grenade” will premiere on MTV.com/Vh1.com at 12:01am this Friday the 19th,
followed by a primetime premiere at 8pm on MTV, MTV2, mtvU & MTV Hits. Vh1 Top 20 Countdown follows at 9am on the 20th. Don’t miss it!
