New Edition to Be Honored by ‘Museum of African American Music’

The New Edition Exhibit, Will Be in Recognition of Their 40th Anniversary.

One of our favorites, legendary New Edition will receive a well deserved honor this weekend in Nashville Tennessee, by The National Museum of African American Music and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The fellas will be in the building, for their special honor.

The New Edition exhibit, will be in recognition of their 40 year Anniversary. Being heled this Sunday, April 16th at 2:00 PM at 510 Broadway in Nashville at NMAAM.

The event is free and open to the public. RSVP/Tickets are not required. Entry is first come, first served.

New Edition will also play Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at 7:00 PM, on the latest stop of the “Legacy Tour,” along with Keith Sweat, Tank and GUY.

The National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) officially opened in January 2021 at Fifth and Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee.

The 56,000-square-foot institution is the only museum dedicated to educating, preserving and celebrating more than 50 music genres and styles that were created, influenced, and/or inspired by African Americans, including spirituals, blues, jazz, gospel, R&B, and hip hop.

The six distinct galleries feature artifacts, objects, memorabilia, clothing, and state-of-the-art technology are designed to share a different narrative and a unique perspective on African American music and history.
