“The concept for this years Black Music Month feature came from Then to Now, a section we started last year on the relaunch of the site. Black Music is more than a month and the artists that are relevant to it are more than the new current artists. The artists from then paved the way for the artists of now and that’s what this feature is about! Our site has always been known for our interviews if nothing else, so it was important for us to make sure they were really on point for this. It’s also great to have the artists who we have supported over the years, support us for this special feature!” – Aries (CEO of Urban Bridgez Group)

Interviews isn’t the only focus on UrbanBridgez Black Music Month feature. The site will bring back the Round Table Discussion on June 22nd. This exclusive feature includes industry reps (radio, record label, publicity, marketing and management) speaking on various subjects that include — The current state of R&B and Hip-Hop, major labels vs. independent labels and much more. This years promises to top the first and help create some great dialogue between all who support good R&B and Hip-Hop music.
